A Bit About Me

I am curious about the world around me. That's my main drive to explore and study the many fantastic beings surrounding us. I started on the journey to try and understand the beings we call chimpanzees in 2007, in Zambia, in Chimfunshi. After finishing my MSc. degree in psychology, I became convinced that in order to truly understand ourselves, how we have come to be the way we are, we need a broader perspective than psychology. We need a comparative perspective. Building on the work of many biologists and comparative psychologists before me, I feel privileged to be able to research the intricate social lives of great apes in pursuit of little insights that make sense in the light of evolution.
